DESCRIPTION:The Social Enterprise World Forum (SEWF) is a global annual flagship event that brings together social entrepreneurs\, policymakers\, investors\, academics and other impact-led professionals to strengthen impact entrepreneurship and encourage systemic change. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“Amsterdam is delighted to host the Social Enterprise World Forum 2023. This global event is a milestone in our city’s journey to creating a wellbeing economy that puts people and the planet first\,” says Amsterdam Deputy Mayor Sofyan Mbarki. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGerry Higgins\, the founder and managing director of SEWF\, adds: “The social enterprise community worldwide is looking forward to the first SEWF event in mainland Europe. The Netherlands is a leader in the field\, with world-class social enterprises and a highly respected policy ecosystem.” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe event will take place on 11 and 12 October 2023 and will be co-hosted by Amsterdam Impact and Social Enterprise NL\, a national network with more than 430 members.
