The Social Enterprise World Forum (SEWF) is a global annual flagship event that brings together social entrepreneurs, policymakers, investors, academics and other impact-led professionals to strengthen impact entrepreneurship and encourage systemic change.
“Amsterdam is delighted to host the Social Enterprise World Forum 2023. This global event is a milestone in our city’s journey to creating a wellbeing economy that puts people and the planet first,” says Amsterdam Deputy Mayor Sofyan Mbarki.
Gerry Higgins, the founder and managing director of SEWF, adds: “The social enterprise community worldwide is looking forward to the first SEWF event in mainland Europe. The Netherlands is a leader in the field, with world-class social enterprises and a highly respected policy ecosystem.”
The event will take place on 11 and 12 October 2023 and will be co-hosted by Amsterdam Impact and Social Enterprise NL, a national network with more than 430 members. In addition to a two-day event in Amsterdam, visitors can expect many side events and tours throughout the Netherlands, with numerous opportunities to connect and start new partnerships.
